POLY ABSORBENT PADS

DonMar consulting offers three types of poly absorbent pads. Each has different properties, and will work effectively in specific situations.

The Econo Pad (Product #698) and the Extra-strength Pad (product #692) both absorb hydrocarbon materials - without absorbing water or water soluble solutions. These pads will absorb hydrocarbons that have come in contact with water.

The Extra-strength and Econo Pads should be kept in stock as emergency spill
response equipment for any operation that uses gasoline, diesel fuel, hydraulic oils, etc.

Durability and resilience distinguish these two products. The Extra-Strength pad will withstand the rigors of being wrung out and reused. In a location where it is difficult to keep large quantities of pads on hand, having these pads available can make the difference between containing a spill or receiving a fine.

The Universal Pad (product # 690) absorbs water-soluble solutions as well as hydrocarbon materials.

In facilities or areas where water-soluble materials may spill and create a hazard, keep Universal Pads as your emergency response supplies. Pesticides, liquid fertilizers and non-aggressive chemicals are examples of dangerous, water-soluble materials.

Universal Pads will also clean up hydrocarbon spills in land-based operations effectively as long as the hydrocarbons have not mixed with water.
